Team, roles & invitations
Demerzel is multi-tenant: you can belong to several organizations and switch between them from the top of the sidebar. Each organization has its own members and roles.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including deleting the organization and granting ownership. There is always at least one owner. |
| Admin | Manage members, notifications and all data; act on Actions. |
| Read-only | View everything; cannot change anything. |
Invite a teammate
On the Team page, enter an email and pick a role. They receive a link; after signing in (by email code or a social login) they join your organization automatically. Pending invitations can be revoked at any time, and inviting someone who already has an account simply adds the new organization to theirs.
Sign-in
Demerzel is passwordless. You sign in with a 6-digit code emailed to you, or with Google, GitHub, Microsoft, GitLab, Discord or Slack. Social sign-ins are only linked to your account when the provider confirms your email is verified.
Transferring ownership & deleting an org
An owner can promote another member to Owner from the role selector, then step down to Admin. Deleting an organization is owner-only and asks you to type its name to confirm; it permanently removes that organization’s data. Your account and any other organizations you belong to are unaffected.
